Job Description: Business Overview: Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by connecting our capabilities across the firm.  RPWS is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive set of personal wealth and retirement products and services through Banking, Merrill Edge and Advisory channels.  RPWS provides tools and content that enables financial advisors and bankers to help their client's live better financial lives. Job Description: Sitting within Business Governance and Infrastructure (BG&I), the Strategy and TechnologyInfrastructure (S&TI) team partners across Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) to shape, align and drive holistic business and technology strategies - enabling growth opportunity capture across client segments, products and channels.  S&TI is responsible for leading key RPWS initiatives - both big-picture and strategic in nature (i.e., shaping overall business direction), as well as imminently executable.  In addition, the team oversees business management functions for BG&I. Role Responsibilities Function as chief of staff to head of BG&I as business support manager (e.g., driving effective management routines; serves as point person for coordination of team's strategic priorities, business activities and operations) Own end-to-end responsibility for multiple concurrent projects / initiatives; manage teams that may consist of S&TI  AVPs / Analysts, as well as key line of business and support partners Develop strategic / analytical frameworks that may pertain to specific market, business or competitive analyses; draft work plans to execute analyses (including, timelines, data requirements, specific steps) Conduct primary / secondary research and competitive analyses (e.g., market positioning, differentiators) Perform data analyses to drive insights and inform recommendations (e.g., financial modeling, cost / profitability analysis) Formulate output derived from projects into concise and articulate presentations with focus on pragmatic reporting /  recommendations / solutions Facilitate and lead senior management discussions; advise RPWS leaders on real-time actionable issues Required Skills: Minimum of five years overall professional experience in a financial services environment; 2+ years relevant experience in corporate strategy role or S&TI-like team within a financial services firm Knowledge of institutional retirement space and products solutions (e.g., Defined Contribution, Non-Qualified Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Equity Plans, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Health Benefit Solutions) Bachelors degreerequired Knowledge of personal retirement space and products solutions (e.g., Education Savings Accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Annuities, Life Insurance)  Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to facilitate remote, cross-functional, cross-location meetings and the ability to develop and deliver management presentations Ability to effectively build and maintain strong internal / external relationships with multiple partners across multiple sites and courage to influence and challenge when necessary Strong leadership skills; team player / mentor / motivator / thought leader who is able to bring together people and perspectives to reach new solutions and build confidence and trust with colleagues across the organization Entrepreneurial initiative, determination and energy to contribute, coupled with a commitment to the highest quality standards and attention to detail Self-starter, high energy and ability to work with minimal supervision - with a track record of success. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
