Team Lead Quality Assurance and Testing

Position Summary The position is for a QA Team Lead to lead the Batch / Back-end Mainframe testing team This position requires good coordination skills with multiple stakeholders (Tech & Business) Planning and scheduling QA deliverables based on both Agile and Waterfall methodologies Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking. Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing. Associate should be able toreportstatus to senior management Required Skills Understanding of full life cycle of SDLC and Testing process Expertise in QA Tools and Processes Experience in HP Quality Center Strong analytical ability and problem-solving Skills  Ability to Identify test scenarios from the defined specifications. Exposure to Wealth Management Exposure to Agile methodology Leadership skills Mainframe technologies such as Basic COBOL programming and JCL o Mainframe Flat file Validation o Basic Easytrieve programming o DB2 databases tables o SQL queries such as Simple Join, Nested Join for Data validation o API / Stored procedure validation o Data validation using utilities such TOAD for DB2 Analyst, IBM data Studio o Excel Macro for various performance/risk related validations o Web service validation o Front UI/Distributed applications for .Net based framework Familiarity with Batch / Mainframe Tools . Mainframe emulator - Cobol / EZYtrieve programs, JCLs, DF Sort / ICETOOL utility for data validation report formatting 2. IBM Data Studio 4.1, Toad for Db2 Analyst/SQL Server/Oracle - complex SQL queries anddatabasevalidation Desired Skills Strong work ethic, flexibility to work weekend and evenings as needed Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate issues and status to management Able to work with team members, managers and leads to the highest level of quality Exposure to Test automation tools including QTP / UFT. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
