Job Description: This position is a Quantitative Senior Analyst role on the GWIM & Merrill Edge Analytics Team within our Client and Sales Analytics organization.  The GWIM & Merrill Edge Analytics Team provides analytical insights needed to promote responsible growth across the firm's investment solutions, including the Merrill Edge, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, and U.S. Trust lines of business.  This includes: Executing analyses across the investment continuum, including Merrill Edge, Merrill Lynch, and US Trust, to understand market position and client-level opportunities Performing pipeline analysis and enabling modeling efforts to identify gaps in the firm's ability to capture greater share of new investment relationships/assets and drive higher conversion in all parts of the sale funnel Identifying innovative uses of customer data to target high-value business opportunities and drive improved performance Presenting conclusions, implications and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders    Responsibilities: As a Senior Analyst, you will leverage multiple databases to obtain the customer and performance data necessary to deliver analytical insights across the investment continuum and provide greater understanding of strategic potential with our client and prospect populations.  These work efforts include projects such as identifying drivers of sales & marketing performance, analyzing priority segments to recommend customer-centric strategies, and identifying patterns or behaviors that indicate potential growth/attrition in our local markets.  The Senior Analyst role entails direct partnership with Business Leaders to understand the business problem(s) to be analyzed as well as succinctly communicating solutions to those issues at an Executive level using data driven insights. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years hands-on analytics experience with ability to use SAS, SQL, R and/or PYTHON to find and deliver data from various relational databases and platforms Excellent statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and translate into meaningful insight Comfortable and effective in tackling unstructured, "white space" analytical challenges Significant experience developing and facilitating presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau; proven communications skills with the ability to describe and summarize complex data at an Executive level High degree of autonomy with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including ability to organize and prioritize schedules to meet tight deadlines Ability to build key relationships and influence thinking of internal stakeholders Bachelor's Degreerequired, Master's Degreepreferred with background or equivalent experience in Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or Computer Science Desired Skills & Experience Ability to craft appropriate design of experiment and measurement plan for client programs (i.e. A/B split and multivariate testing) Working knowledge of advanced analytic techniques including textual analytics, propensity models, segmentation, and decision trees using data mining software and visualization tools (e.g., SAS Enterprise Miner; Salford Systems SPM incl. CART and MARS; Angoss Advanced Analytics; etc.) Experience in financial services with emphasis on business insights and data/financial analysis; specific experience with investments or client managed business a plus Subject matter knowledge of quantitative marketing principles and/or digital domain experience. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
