Summary:
Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Hadoop Developer.
Our client is seeking a Java/Scala Hadoop hands-on senior developer to join the team to work on multi-year strategic initiative that will develop a scalable, reliable and high performance data warehouse platform to address the reporting, business intelligence and reconciliation needs of Client communication and service technology.
The lead developer will work with the architect to build the platform with adherence to the best practices and patterns of big data using the following technological constructs.
The Lead developer should be able to work with enterprise level Hadoop as service team to onboard and maintain the application following enterprise standards and best practices.
He/she should be able to mentor the team members on Hadoop ecosystem.
Skills:
SQOOP and Kafka for ingesting data from structured and unstructured data sources HIVE :
SQL Like data warehouse to facilitate reading, writing and managing large dataset residing in distributed storage (HDFS) SPARK :
Unified analytics engine for large-scale data processing IMPALA/HUE :
Provides low latency and high concurrency for BI/analytic queries on Hadoop Hands-on experience in building data warehouse systems in Hadoop ecosystem Strong understanding of programing paradigms such as distributed architectures and multi-threaded program design Experience in several ETL technologies Hands-on experience in Sqoop, Kafka, Hive Spark and Impala Desired Skills:
