AppDynamics engineer (Full Time)Pennington,NJSalary - DOEUS CITZENS & GREENCARD ONLY.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Engineer solutions and establish standards for AppDynamics Controller and agent deployments, including optimizations and tunings per requirements.
o Adopt AppDynamics for usage in Cloud IaaS and PaaS models.
o Devise an authentication and authorization model for AppDynamics within standard Client security framework.
Develop customizations as needed.
o Architect a highly-available and scalable Controller infrastructure with appropriate monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
o Seek opportunities for automated deployments so as to reduce operational tasks.
o Seek opportunities for integration of AppDynamics with other monitoring tools in the Client portfolio.
o Test and implement AppDynamics Monitoring Extensions appropriate for Client's technology stack (e.
g.
Webservers; Messaging Tiers).
o Test and implement AppDynamics Database Agent.
o Test and implement AppDynamics End User Experience Monitoring.
Required Skills:
o Strong AppDynamics product knowledge, internals, and product REST API.
o Extensive industry experience in deploying AppDynamics for mission critical applications.
o Working experience in monitoring and performance tools.
o Strong technical skill sets in Java and Unix shell scripting.
o Exposure to full application lifecycle development including coding; testing; deployment; and post-implementation activities.
o Ability to develop AppDynamics Monitoring Extensions.
o Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Additional Skills Preferred:
o Exposure to Cloud environments such as CloudFoundry.
o Exposure to authentication and entitlement management with LDAP or SAML.
o Exposure to Middleware components such as WebServer, AppServer, Messaging, Integration QualificationsEngineer for design and implementation of Application Performance Management (APM) toolsets in large-scale, enterprise environments.
Prior implementation and customizations experience with APM tools such as AppDynamics; CA Wily; New Relic; Dynatrace, or similar in Unix environments needed.
