ResponsibilitiesThis VDC/ BIM Application Specialist position presents an exciting opportunity for professional growth and career longevity.
This is a full-time position in Pennington, New Jersey.
The ideal candidate is someone with an understanding of constructability, experience in VDC/ BIM technologies and industry related experience is a plus.
This position will report to the VP of VDC/ Technology.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Modeling, Quantification, Clash Detection and Coordination via Autodesk AEC Collection Coordinate and Manage Revit/ IFC Models Present QTO information accurately, both graphically and numerically Review all Construction Documents, RFIs and Submittals for incorporation into the Model Survey and field measure existing conditions, buildings, structures and equipment Create, Modify and Update Revit Families Coordinate complex systems with other trades maintaining the Model throughout Construction Organize Clash Detection Views for resolution and facilitate RFI process if applicable Attend Coordination Meetings to effectively resolve conflicts with other trades Produce Installation/ Shop Drawings for field use Review all work for accuracy and constructability Compliance to Standards Provide prompt and accurate Progress Status Reports on a regular and consistent basis Commitment towards quality control standards including creating/ maintaining documentation Ability to work independently but communicate collaboratively Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently to meet Project Schedule(s) Trusted resource and BIM authority for both internal and external contacts Training Identify and provide software application education, training and support Monitor and support other members of the team to promote continued learning and growth Qualifications 5
years professional experience in Revit with at least 2 years of full time Revit experience 2
years professional experience in Navisworks and Autodesk Docs Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Point Layout Knowledge of construction processes/ procedures and MEPFP systems Ability to read and understand Construction Documents and Submittals Excellent organizational and communication skills A passion for precision and accuracy in all aspects of work product Recommended Skills Architectural Drawing Auto Cad Autodesk Revit Construction Navisworks Passionate Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
