5 2 hours ago Full Job Description Overview Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications.
Responsible for the overall success of projects.
Leads end to end project management activities such as reporting, planning, issue / risk tracking, work breakdown structures, scheduling effort estimation and tracking, other project documentation preparation and turnover to production.
Ensures work is performed within the program and project management policies, standards, procedures and frameworks with established tools and techniques routinely used for project management.
Measures and monitors project actuals, forecasts and budgets and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner.
Follows financial standards & processes (e.
g.
monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement & external payments).
Reports financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees.
Secures, leads, motivates and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the project.
Establishes the project governance (e.
g.
sponsors, approvers, stakeholders).
Manages Project Resources.
May have leadership responsibility for Project Team members.
Serves as a liaison between clients and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.
Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy.
No direct reports.
May guide other Project Management support staff.
Contributes to the achievement of function objectives.
Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is beneficial.
10 - 12 years of related program and/or project management experience required.
Experience with operations, technology and/or financial services industry is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees.
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $96,000 and $215,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
